It has been a long time since our last update, but there has definitely been a lot going on with Hymns and History!! The film has been steadily gaining exposure, and has recently been signed by Questar Entertainment for a major distribution release in August. This arrangement has freed us up to begin working on Volume II, which is currently in pre-production phase.
The time period of Hymns and History Vol. II will likely cover the 17th and 18th centuries, and the four hymns/hymn writers featured will be: 1.The Sands of Time are Sinking (Samuel Rutherford); 2. When I survey the Wondrous Cross (Isaac Watts); 3. And Can It Be (The Wesley Brothers); Amazing Grace (John Newton). Our goal is to be completed by year's end. Jesus said to His followers in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” It is our earnest desire to walk in obedience to this teaching, that we might brightly shine the light of the gospel of Christ to the world around us.
